Cabaret Jazz set for the the Ecole Francaise Les Grands Lacs 50th Anniversary celebration on May 26, 2018 in Kampala, Uganda.  With music of Edith Piaf, Joe Dassin, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Joseph Kosma, Johnny Mercer and many more from songwriters of the Paris Dance Halls and New York City’s Tin Pan Alley.

Recordings from the world premiere performance in New York City at the 14th Street Y Theater in June 2009.  Produced by Golden Fleece Ltd.

Sag-In’s recitative and aria Away with You, Away! sung by Gregory McDonald, tenor and Raya’s recitative and aria Villager’s Have Warned Me sung by Victoria Wefer, soprano.  Music ensemble:  Giulia Abdikadirova, violin; Heather Kop, clarinet; Carmela Sinco, piano; Thomas Carlo Bo, conductor.

! New Opera World Premiere Performance !

And just like that, the new full-length three-act opera Diwata ng Bayan, two plus years in the making, has had its world premiere.

Staged at the Cultural Center of the Philippines main theatre.
